PRIVATE TO THOSE UNDER HIS CARE:

We descend today. This Carnivale Carlisle has promoted might catch the attention of certain parties we needn't have the Cullens be associated with. I advise that those who will come with me shall make certain that the Cullens- as well as yourselves- are protected. You are all allowed to parttake in any sort of merriment in the fair but I advise caution and subtlety. The skies will be dark, but we still have a secret to keep.

PRIVATE THOUGHTS.

It seems waiting has left my copanions weary, tired. I had not anitcipated I would miss being mobile. For years I have spent many nights and days merely sitting, not moving, but with the recenct issues we have to face I am afraid I have grown weary of waiting myself. There is much to do. And soon, we must leave again.

CAIUS.
News from the South, Caius?

RENATA, CORIN and AFTON.
Have any of you heard word from the others? I apologize if we have to wait, but it is imperative that we hear the decision of those we have spoken to. The Cullen's and The Denali's. As soon as we do, the hunt shall begin.

CARLISLE and ELEAZAR.
I understand that for you decide on which road to tak on the matter I have proposed, you would require time. But if there is anything I may say to convince you to reach your decision, I would be glad to answer what questions plague your minds.

TO CAIUS.
Caius. It seemed one that remained in Volterra wished to join our cause. Young Corin, the mate of one who remains at your side: Santiago. I had been asked by the young one if he could descend the Castle to seek for us, to join us. However I remain dubious, questioning if his intentions are genuine or ill. I have proven this day that he might be sincere in our exchange, for he had recently sent word to me that Aro will abandon Volterra soon, as we have expected. A warning such as that would not have been offered if the young one did not desire for our safety? Unless it was a trap.

I wish to consult with you in this matter. I am hoping to hear from you soon, for Corin has a deadline that is fast aproaching. Aro has been summoning each of the guards that remained in Volterra, and questioning their loyalty. By such, I guess it would mean he will take their liberty away from them with his poisonous touch and read each of their minds. He will know of Corin's wavering loyalties and I fear his death might be on my hands if I do not accept his request to join me. But at the same time, I fear that if this is a trap, I would endanger myself and my companions.

I suggest keeping an eye on young Santiago; if Corin had contacted me, I am almost certain he's heard word from him as well. I would wish to know your thoughts in this matter, and hope you would respond at the soonest possible time.

TO CAIUS, ATHENODORA, AND THOSE WHOSE BONDS ARE TIED STRONGLY TO MARCUS & CAIUS:
SANTIAGO, RENATA, AFTON, CHELSEA, FELIX AND OTHER GUARDS.

It's time, my brothers and sisters, for me to take my leave. If what I am about to do will be condemened as an act of treason to the eyes of many, then yes, I am guilty of this. Let me be judged for my inability to remain loyal to a cause I no longer believe in. I was one of the few who established the laws of our kind, one of the view who have built this castle, this empire with my bare hands. But it seems the law has been manipulated, bent without our notice with the culprit left free from the shackles of punishment he is destined for. Corruption and lust for power has tied a few to a fate they are not meant for. I can no longer sit and watch; I am now, compelled to act.

I have ceased believing in the visions that I once shared with a loyal friend, and although my exhibition of weakness in the Commons is one I consider a miscalculation, I will not regret a second of it. An enemy, I shall become to the coven I helped established, but I shall do this without a trace of remorse or hesitation.

To those whose beliefs reflect that of  mine, then I grant you the permission to leave the stone walls that have caged us for all these centuries. To those who wish for change, to offer your aid for the betterment of our world, then you would not be denied, and would in fact be welcomed.

Caius. Which direcion will you head? Chelsea needs to be honored the protection you have promised her. Aro will come to her first.

Indifference is the strongest force in the universe. It makes everything it touches meaningless. Love and hate don't stand a chance against it. )
